Mr Bender has over 20 years of experience in IT. He started his professional career in 1988 as an Information Management Lead Professional (IMLP) with GE. Since then he has taken on positions of increasing responsibilities.

In his current role at GE, he is implementing Enovia eMatrix PLM tool to 5 divisions of GE. In this key assignment, he provides strategic direction for the technology platform, application server & file collaboration. He is directly responsible for setting and meeting SLAs related to performance and availability.

Prior to this role, Mr Bender was a Vice President at Citigroup as a Lead Architect in the Shared Technology Services. In this capacity, he was directly responsible for creating Engineering roadmaps for the tools being developed as shared assets for Citi.

During his work at GE Healthcare, he played many leadership roles starting with Configuration Manager for Oracle eBusiness Suite. GE Healthcare successfully rolled out Oracle application suite globally. He was also responsible for Performance and Capacity management during this time. The application had 6000 users worldwide. Mr Bender worked as a Technical Architect and Deployment leader for Siebel CRM implementation at GE Healthcare.

Mr Bender is an avid golfer and Harley Davidson enthusiast. He now lives at Jacksonville, FL with his wife Mary. When not working, he likes to spend his time with his son (Joe) and 2 daughters (Megan and Julie).
